The rates are mostly reasonable, starting at $9 per page for high-schoolers with 14 days to spare. However, college undergrads would have to pay a minimum of $10 per page, and the prices double if you set a 24-hour deadline. Still, first-time clients get a generous essayusa.com promo code for 15% off the first order. It was an enticing offer, lowering the cost from $59 to around $50 for my 4-page essay on a week-long deadline. 

Services Quality

The order process seemed surprisingly fast and straightforward, with barely a handful of required fields and no unnecessary nonsense, like a fake bidding process some sites use. Still, a couple of weird things gave me pause. For example, there are options for College and Undergraduate academic levels, though the pricing table lists Undergrad 1-2 and Undergrad 3-4. And the descriptions for Initial Draft and Quality Check are obviously mixed up on the extra service step. I’m willing to let these things slide as the website is undergoing a redesign. Hopefully, the final version will be free of small mistakes that make me question the professionalism of the people behind the website. 

Finally, we’ve come to the juiciest part of my Essay USA review. I ordered a 4-page Business and Management essay titled “Is leadership an innate or acquired personality trait?”. After seven days of waiting, I got a mess of contradicting ideas without any logical flow or direction. The writer switched from one point of view to the next several times within every passage, making it impossible to follow the argument. And there were at least a dozen mistakes to boot. I had the writer revise the draft several times, and it was still far from perfect by the time I got fed up with this. So while the essay wasn’t expensive, I wasted too much time explaining my complaints and necessary revisions.

Online Reputation 

SiteJabber

Among the 18 EssayUSA reviews on SiteJabber, only three are negative, giving the service a respectable rating of 4.27 stars. The good posts praise writing quality and timely delivery, while the bad ones complain about plagiarism, poor grades, and the lack of refunds. Unfortunately, the company representative responds to negative reviews with a stock request for an order ID, even if one is clearly stated in the review. Besides, phrases like “at the shortest notice” make me doubt that the company representative is a native English speaker.

Trustpilot

The company’s Trustpilot profile comes with 33 reviews and a rating of 4.1 stars. The positive reviews seem genuine, but so do the negative ones. And one of the reviewers mirrored my belief that some of the writers are not ENL speakers. It’s also a bit suspicious that the two latest reviews were negative and posted in August 2021.

Reddit

I didn’t find many helpful Essayusa.com Reddit reviews. Most Redditors have never heard of the service and those who did have mixed reactions concerning the writing quality. Some were pleased with the results, while others warned fellow Redditors off. There’s a fair share of unsolicited recommendations for rival essay mills. 

Other Review Websites

The company has a spotty reputation among my fellow independent reviewers. Some, like ScamFighter and Top Writing Services, are on the fence, though they do not recommend using EssayUSA. Others, like Essays Online and Reviewing Writing, are all for it. Top Writing Reviews is the only outright negative post I read, though it’s obviously biased, considering the author could not even locate a pricing table, though it can be easily accessed via the top menu bar. Most reviewers have complaints about poor writing and support experience, mirroring my experience with the company, so it seems like a running theme, not an unlucky coincidence. 

Social Media Activity

Facebook 

The Facebook page only has 95 followers and has been silent since September 2021. I guess the company abandoned the social media game because of the lack of likes, shares, and comments. The only two reviews were posted in 2021, and they look fake. Considering both use the phrase “wrote it quickly and qualitatively,” I think the same person published both reviews.

Twitter

There’s no link to a Twitter account on the website, and I couldn’t find one. However, there is a similar account, @essayusa2, though I don’t think it’s affiliated with this writing service. 

Youtube 

The only video on the Essay USA Youtube channel is a 10-second long screenshot of the pricing page. It was published in 2016, and the channel has been dormant since then. And I couldn’t find any video reviews on Youtube.

Customer Support

Of course, I couldn’t complete my EssayUSA review without chatting with the support team. On the plus side, there’s always someone handling the phone lines. On the downside, none of the support agents I talked to were native English speakers. And they were all too fond of stock responses to give me any real answers. I finished most conversations before getting any useful info because I was fed up with their non-answers. Unsurprisingly, they treat all negative reviews the same way. And email responses take forever.

Guarantees

The refund terms are incredibly vague, with no clear explanations of the process or the requirements for getting your money back. The only sure thing is that you need to request a refund within 14 days after receiving your order if your paper is under 20 pages or within 30 days if it’s longer. The Quality Assessment Department will evaluate your complaints and decide how much of your money you can get back (if any).

Fun fact: the link to the Money Back Policy in the Terms of Use was broken when I tried to use it.

Conclusion

If my essayusa.com review seems contradictory, that’s because I have seriously mixed feelings about this service. While the prices and discounts are good, and the order process is smooth, the company’s solid online reputation does not translate into quality writing or customer support. I may have been extremely unlucky, so I won’t warn you off this site. But if you decide to give it a go, pick a non-critical assignment and account for the time necessary for several revision rounds.
