Matt has spent the last 4+ years working in the St. Louis startup community. He served as the Director of Operations and Venture Partner, respectively for two nationally-ranked accelerator programs, Capital Innovators and SixThirty. In June of 2012, he was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 Under 30 list of up-and-coming young professionals. Matt is a former AmeriCORPS VISTA member and is an alumni of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. Matt is also a co-founder of an online resource-sharing tool for nonprofits called GoodMap, which won $30,000 in seed funding through the YouthBridge Social Enterprise Competition in April 2013. Matt is an active triathlete, photographer, and chess instructor.

Director, Youth Programs
Beth has 5+ years of working in experiential youth programming. She formerly served as the Youth Leadership St. Louis Director at FOCUS St. Louis, a nonprofit organization that develops leadership in the St. Louis region. She developed curriculum and facilitated leadership development programs for 160 high school juniors throughout 33 schools. She also taught eighth grade in south Texas through Teach for America, a national corps of individuals that dedicated two years to teaching in low-income schools. She currently serves on the board for Launch St. Louis and manages their online tool LaunchMe, which serves to connect young and talented individuals to nonprofit young friend boards.

Development and Grants Manager
Chance started his work with local nonprofits when he arrived in St. Louis in 2004. Through college and graduate school, he found opportunities to engage a broad range of organizations, from after-school and childcare programs to AIDS service organizations to the Washington University Campus YMCA, where he currently serves on the board. After graduate school, Chance joined the fundraising team at the Saint Louis Science Center After four years in that role, he switched to program incubation, developing a series of monthly weekend expos and spearheading local implementation for Portal to the Public, a professional development program focused on connecting scientists to museum visitors and fostering meaningful learning conversations. Chance enjoys cooking, board games and has always wanted to be a Muppet.
